Biography

Growing up in a farming family in Williston, North Dakota, Kaitlin understands the unique legal challenges that come with the changing dynamic of the oil industry in the Upper Midwest. Kaitlin has handled a wide range of legal issues in her career, but she currently focuses on oil and gas curative issues for mineral owners, probate and estate administration, real estate, estate planning, and business law. Kaitlin also currently serves as the civil Municipal Attorney for Fairview, Montana. She is licensed in North Dakota, Montana, and Texas.

Kaitlin earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Dakota. Before pursuing her law degree, she gained invaluable experience as a paralegal, enriching her understanding of the legal process. After graduating from Washington & Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia, Kaitlin was happy to return to Williston to contribute her legal knowledge to the community that shaped her. Life has recently moved Kaitlin and her family to Texas but she remains strongly connected to North Dakota, where her extended family still lives. The move has created new opportunities for clients of the firm that own oil and gas interest in both the Bakken region and in Texas. Kaitlin continues to be diligently available for her clients in North Dakota and Montana, working remotely from the Houston area.

When she's not in the office, Kaitlin spends all the time she can with her husband and her son. She enjoys baking, traveling, and reading.
